Whilst in the area, visitors may like to make the trip to another spa town: that of Bargone, situated between Salsomaggiore and Tabiano Bagni. This is where to find the Shobozan Fudenji Buddhist Zen Temple of the School of Soto, founded in 1984. Each year, the resident Buddhist community offers hospitality to practitioners of the faith from all over the world.
